The 2010 Lexus GS-460 is the bigger more powerful of the Lexus GS line of luxury sedans We took a 2009 Lexus GS-460 on about a 1200 mile trip last fall and WOW! what a great riding and handling car. I would love to have one but living in Colorado, I would probably buy the GS-350 AWD. If I had to drive for a living, I would want a GS-460. What a vehicle. The 2010 Lexus GS-460 uses a 90 degree V-8 with an aluminum block and heads. It is a 4.6 liter with four cams, four valves per cylinder with dual Variable Valve Timing with Intelligence and Electronic Intake Valve Timing. It develops 342 horsepower at 6200 RPM. It is qualified as a Certified Ultra Low emission Vehicle. It does 0-60 in 5.4 seconds and has an EPA rating of 17/24. The GS-460 has the Lexus eight speed transmission. It has sequential shift automatic with Electronic Control and intelligence. This is one of the smoothest and sweetest shifting transmissions I have ever driven. One SWEEEET vehicle. Ride wise the GS-460 is great too It has front and rear independent suspension, Adaptive Variable Suspension with Electronic Modulated damping; Active Power Stabilizer Suspension System; Variable Gear Ratio Steering, Braking is power assisted discs with four sensor, four channel ABS with Electronic Brake-force Distribution and Brake Assist; Electronic Controlled Braking applied to the ground via 245/40 ZR18 tires 0n 18 X 8.0 five spoke alloy wheels. It goes, rides, and stops with the best of them. Standard Luxury items are so numerous that there are very few options. The GS-460 has standard heated and ventilated leather seats. All the latest safety both active and passive are standard. Some of the nice and luxury features on the GS-460 are the Dynamic Cruise Control which uses radar technology to help maintain a preset distance from the vehicle traveling in front of yours. If you appear to be getting too close the throttle is automatically reduced and the brakes applied. Once the road is cleared the GS-460 will return to its normal speed.
